the basics –
It’s Sunday afternoon & I am sitting lazy at home. So I feel it’s the right time to write to you about this look with the basics I Flaunted in the recent past. It was yet another day when I had to dress up keeping both the casual & formal part in my mind.
I was supposed to go for shopping & I had a semi-formal meeting in the scheduler as well. Considering that, I decided to pick the basics for that day. I chose a printed Levi’s jeans ( just picked from the latest Levi’s sale & I believe it’s still in the store). I loved this jeans specially because of the light prints over a chocolate shade which looks totally apt to wear in a semi formal meeting as well. It gives a denim fitting yet offers that trouser kind of look.
I decided to team it up with a green-black top designed by me (I loved that many of my friends liked the design). I added my black Guess bag (yes, there was some important documents to carry & I chose this large one so that it easily offers me the space to keep my everyday necessities along with the other documents). Along with that, I wore Aldo black peep toe pumps to complete my look for that day with the basics. To me, I killed two birds with one stone on that day as this look is pretty much suitable for both casual outing & semi-formal events.
