meeting – stalkbuylove, asos
I am currently loving this weather after acute winter. The reason for loving this weather is the ‘sun factor’. When there’s the presence of bright sun during the daytime, it becomes easier to head for an early daytime meeting. Also the slight warmth allows us to get rid of the layers of winterwear and then a full sleeve dress looks just fine. Thankfully these 2-3 days are all about bright sun and less cold. While saying all that, I must admit I don’t have strong hatred for the winter season or its layering game , but it’s always better to come out of a monotonous vibe. Wait, did I just say monotonous while wearing a dress in monotone? Yes, I said that because after long days and nights of picturing myself in winterwear, it felt so good to come out of it and show a dress albeit a monotone dress.
I’m born in December and winter is always close to my heart but let’s just say that tedious vibe doesn’t go well with me. So I’m pretty glad to flaunt a full sleeve long length dress (not a maxi but a midi dress which is way longer than the knee length ones).
Also the dress I’m wearing in this look is a multi-purpose dress because it’s perfect for both casual look or daytime meeting look during the spring. The medium length of the dress and long sleeve length cover most part of the skin and that’s fairly helpful to protect from the cold breeze during the daytime. While pairing the dress with a pair of black formal ankle booties, I have managed to cover the legs (well, almost) in style.
The white ASOS bag I’m carrying in this look is pretty apt for a daytime meeting. The white color of the bag is juxtaposed with the navy dress and black boots and formal shape of this bag is perfectly business appropriate.
This look didn’t cause me any hesitation to attend a daytime meeting first and then head for a friendly hangout. It was absolutely perfect for both the purpose.
Lots of love,
Wake Up. Stay Stylish. Repeat.
